We started in January 2001 teaching MMS well control. We modified our manual as per Dale and Rob in February 2003 to comply with IADC regulations. We are currently registered with IADC and MMS and are legal to teach as per Insurers regulations. We are currently accredited thru IADC. We are training within well control industry standards with Global Well Control using MMS and IADC guidelines. Our school is backed by 37 years of hands on operation that started in worms corner and moved through the ranks to Driller, Toolpusher, and Drilling and Completion Foreman. For the past 20 years we have operated as a petroleum consulting firm operating in the U.S., offshore U.S. and internationally. We couple our experience with engineering to develop teamwork in well control situations. You will not only be trained to handle well control situations, but H2S Gas, Rig Safety, and CPR Training will enable you to look deeper into your situation and allow you to make key decisions to help eliminate crisis situations. We welcome you to participate in our training seminars with ideas of your own. Please understand that our training gives you the experience of handling textbook problems, field situations may differ and may alter the way you handle your well control situation. Your training and response time is critical to any operation. Certification by Global Well Control, Inc. will only be valid for two years. There is a 24-hour response number that will be available to you, should you need Global Well Control, Inc. in an advisory or well control team capacity.
